Bras During Pregnancy
One of my previous blogs mentioned that my breasts are growing at a very fast pace during this pregnancy. I wish they would stop already! Because of their fast growth rate I have had to change bra sizes multiple times (changing bra sizes = spending money).
I started this pregnancy in a 32D. That is my non-pregnant size. I will say though that my breasts were never the same after breastfeeding. They are very deflated and floppy feeling now. My once perky 32D’s were now saggy water balloons. I digress.

Around 16 weeks I realized that my bras were too small and I had to move to a 38DD. Yikes! That is quite a change. I credit much of my weight gain to the increase in my breast size. =) I also started having a really bad pain under my right breast. I had the same thing with my first pregnancy and it was so painful I couldn’t wait to take my bra off each day after work. I was now experiencing the same thing but much earlier in the pregnancy.
I was telling some girlfriends about this one day and one of them asked if I was still wearing an under wire bra. Why, yes, I was. She suggested that I go out and get a bra without an under wire. So, I did. Unfortunately, it hasn’t helped much. I think, in all honesty, that I might need a larger size now than the 38DD that I bought. I am pretty much refusing to buy another bra.
I have even tried wearing my nursing bras but even those are tight enough that I start getting the pain. I also went to Gap Body and bought a few of the stretchy bras that they sell. I wear those to bed at night and sometimes during the day. They are the most comfortable ones that I have found so far.
Well I only have 10 more weeks of suffering through the bra pain. The days will go by slow but the weeks will go by fast! If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
*I am using this picture because you can see the stretch marks on my breasts! Yuck!

It’s like we are going through the same darn things. I was just going to post something on the forum to see if anyone else had to buy two bras during pregnancy, and need a third but refused to buy it. Because of the fact that there are 10.5 weeks left for me. Good to know I am not alone! I think I am bigger though!
When I was pregnant I bought these great bra extenders so I didnt need to buy new bras. It didnt help with the cup size though… http://www.amazon.com/NuAngel-Bra-Extenders-Hook-Assorted/dp/B000BZ4SFC
