Have you moved with a baby or toddler? Moving with a toddler is difficult as it is but one of the most timeconsuming pieces (in my opinion) was taking down everything that you used for childproofing and then putting it all back up.
In all honesty, we haven’t re-childproofed the new house because our daughter doesn’t get into anything. I have put safety locks on cabinets with cleaning supplies in them and that is all. I bought a gate for the top of the stairs but haven’t installed it because Brett knows how to go up and down the stairs safely.
One thing, however, that immediately caught my eye was the number of windows on the second story that were really low to the ground or were accessible by an easy climb. I have been paranoid about this since the first day we moved in and have kept the windows either completely closed or only cracked open a couple of inches.
I went online and searched for window stoppers and found some that I think will work. I am going to install them myself (with some help from Dad) this weekend. This will give me some extra piece of mind for safety.
