Holly: Wall Art
We are in the midst of packing up our house (moving day is tomorrow!) and my attention isn’t always on Brett. Yesterday, I was packing and then decided to check my email (because I’m very behind on emails right now). I gave Brett her crayons and a some paper. She was behind me coloring and I was right next to her on my computer. I’d look back every minute or so to check on her. Ok, maybe longer than a minute. I’m not sure.
So, a few minutes go by and I turn around and she has drawn, with blue crayon, all over the wall! I can hardly believe my eyes. I’m upset at myself for not watching her but also amazed that at such a young age she decided that she needed such a large canvas!
I learned from my mom that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a savior and boy was she right! I pulled one out (my last one), got it wet and walked to the art on the wall. I had to put a little muscle behind it because of the texture on my wall but the crayon marks came right off. If you have children and don’t have Magic Eraser’s in the house I HIGHLY suggest that you stock up on your next trip to the store or purchase one below.
