This Thanksgiving was wonderful and it really gave me a chance to reflect upon all of the things that I am thankful for.
First of all, I am so thankful for my wonderful family. I have a loving husband who is able to provide for our family. He supports me through whatever crazy endeavor I have set my sights on. I have parents that love and support my family and help us in any way that we need it. I have two loving brothers who adore my daughter and I have aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents who are all involved in the life of my daughter.
In addition, I am one of the few who adore my in-laws. They are not overbearing, they support the decisions my husband and I make and they love our daughter (their 8th grandchild). This extends as well to my sister and brother-in-laws as well as my nieces and nephews. They are all loving people and I am so fortunate to have them in my life. In fact, I wish they lived closer to us so we could see them more often.
My daughter, now 22 months old, has brought a joy to my life that is almost inexplicable. She makes me laugh and I love to watch her learn and grow every day. I could kiss her and hug her all day!
I also have so many friends to be thankful for and I need to do a better job staying connected with all of them.
Lastly, I am thankful for all of those who support New Mommy Oasis and the new moms who use the website. It is so important for moms to support each other and I am thankful that so many moms are coming together on this website to show support for one another.
One of my favorite quotes by an anonymous person: “To complain about what you don’t have is to waste what you do have.”
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had a chance to reflect upon what you are thankful for in your life.
