Pros:

• Sound quality is excellent

• Battery power has a long life span- once unplugged it lasts almost 8 hours

• Don’t have to worry about a charging base- the unit plugs right into power cord

• The parent unit has a handy belt clip

Cons:

• It is difficult to install the battery in the parent unit (especially for my husband who has very large hands)

• No vibrating feature on the parent unit

Features:

Two-Way Capability:

• My husband loved the idea that we can talk to each other via the parent unit or  the baby via the baby base unit

• When my husband was working in the garage, he was able to talk to me & let me know he was coming to get our daughter when she woke up from a nap

Sound Quality:

• We live in a 1700-sq foot condo so we were initially worried about any potential feedback we would experience, but the sound quality is excellent! I felt like my daughter was lying right next to me…I could even hear the birds singing outside her window!
  

Operational Use:

• The talk button was a tricky to get use to because it was on top of the unit verses a button on the side like a walkie-talkie

Overall, this is a really nice baby monitor and we would definitely recommend it to our friends. In fact, my husband says we should get one when we have our next baby!
