What is the best way to clean a car seat?
It seems that our little ones always have a variety of surprises for us. Mine came in the form of a poopy diaper all over the car seat the other day. It lead me to reach out to my mommy friends out there and find out the best way to clean a car seat.
One thing I learned is that a car seat can be completely disassembled. Just turn it over and start undoing the belts, which will allow you to pull off the cover. You can look online for instructions from the manufacturer of your seat as well.
Everyone suggests pulling your car seat apart and putting all of the fabric in the wash. Then, you can throw it in the dryer or let it air dry.
A variety of answers came in regarding cleaning the seat belts. Here is the list:
Bleach and warm water-
Oxy Clean to the rescue!
Shout wipes to get the thick part off and hose down the seat belts
Baby wipes- they work for everything!
Throw the seatbelts in the wash with everything else
Good luck during your little ones next explosion!
